How accurate this is. I tried to solve all the problems thinking I was Superman, but things only got worse until I learned to talk about problems with Sofi and solve them together. It brings us closer and makes our relationship stronger.
This is a lesson that I only recently learned. My goal at Risk & Progress has, until a few weeks ago, been to find the “best” policy choices and the “best” way of doing things.
Instead, I realized that there may not always be a “best” but rather a number of good options. Thus, I now present these options and leave them to the reader to decide.
Watching the Starship rocket being developed, oddly, has taught me a lot. The basic philosophy that the "best part is no part" and the "best process is no process." Fundamentally, all progress is essentially the constant pursuit of "more from less." If we can constantly ask ourselves, "is this really necessary," the game changes.
