1. I started writing because it was fun! I wanted to create something during the pandemic and creating with words seemed like something I’d be interested in and once I started I haven’t looked back
2. I feel like I’m just at the beginning of this writing journey. I just started reading novels and that’s opened up a whole world of imagination for me and has got me thinking of trying new writing styles!
3. I want to become more of myself in this writing process. That is all I hope for!
Franco, as always, great reflections. I’ve felt a need to write, even at a young age. I have hundreds of journals stuffed in my closet from over the years.
I started my travel blog 11 years ago as a way to get out my thoughts and share experiences with family and friends (and random people who messaged for advice!)
I’ve never made money off of my blog or newsletter (I actually lose money on blog hosting fees 🙃). But it’s something I can’t not do.
It’s easy to get sucked into subscriber counts and metrics, but I’ve found those naturally fluctuate and should be taken with a grain of salt. I write for me, and it’s something I’ll do until I physically can’t.
Great questions Franco!
